I am currently a student of Plastic Arts at the National University of Colombia. Soon muralist and tattoo artist.

 

I was born on May 26, 2002 in Bogotá, Colombia.Daughter of Misael Cortés and Ana María Pinzón being the youngest of four siblings, my artistic knowledge has been empirical and experimental for most of the time although I have also been influenced by my older brother 

Michael Cortés  Graduated as graphic designer (currently tattoo artist).

I started in art like many others, drawing, but I’ve always liked the idea of creating and not copying something that someone else did, I’ve always been struck by the murals that we see daily on the streets and what they generate in people, now I want to be part of it and go deeper into this subject but without leaving aside everything that I can learn from other fields like sculpture, dance video, photography, carpentry among many others, as my mom always says “there’s no harm that for good it doesn’t come” and it’s that I love the fact of combining different themes, techniques and disciplines.

In 2019 I proudly made my first mural inside the Artitis facility, an art space that gave me basic knowledge of art history, the history of some important artists and some drawing and painting techniques.

This is the beginning of a great adventure. . .
